If you’re like most people, you believe in God, but wish you had a better relationship with Him.  It’s not until someone dies, or a child is born, or a tragedy occurs that many people try to “find” God and re-establish some contact with Him.  It is then that they begin to pray, or go back to church, or try to read their Bible, perhaps for the first time.

If you’re like most people, you believe in God, but have questions that you want answered. Where did I come from?  Why am I here? Where am I going?  Who is Jesus, really?  Can I know for sure that I will go to heaven when I die?  How?

If you’re like most people, you don’t want to be “religious” or a “goody-goody,” or a hypocrite.  Hypocrites, plastic people and fakes are everywhere, especially in religion.  It seems that almost everywhere you look, you see people who are supposed to be religious asking for your money.  Moral corruption, scandal and abuse are what a majority of people see when they look at “religion!”

Where do you find some genuine, real answers?

 If you’re like me, I wanted to find God, but didn’t know where to look or how to go about it.  I tried to read the Bible, and started in Genesis, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Then this guy begat this guy who begat this guy and so on!” That didn’t help! I didn’t know where to begin!

It wasn’t until someone helped me open my own Bible and read it for myself that my relationship with God began to take place!

For the first time in my life, I finally had been given enough information so I could begin making intelligent decisions for myself.  Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). My own Bible actually had all the answers, but I never knew how to unlock the simplicity of the Word of God for myself!
