Easy Chicken Divan from Karen Jackson

 

2-10 oz. Frozen packages of broccoli or 2 bunches of fresh broccoli                           

2 cups sliced cooked chicken or 3 chicken breasts, cooked and boned

2-10 ½ oz. Cans condensed cream of chicken soup

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1 teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon curry powder

½ cup shredded sharp cheese

 

Cook broccoli in boiling salted water till tender; drain.  Arrange broccoli in greased

11 x 7 x 1 ½-inch baking dish.  Place chicken on top.  Combine soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder; pour over chicken.  Sprinkle with cheese.  Bake in moderate oven (350o) 25 to 30 minutes or till thoroughly heated.  Makes 6 to 8 servings.
